Curogan - is a copper-tin-alloy with a high copper portion and some additives which make the material strong - but without any nickel. Therefore these chains avoid a discoloration of fair haired dogs. After selling these articles for six years, the experiences of our customers show that still some dogs (less than 10%) do react on Curogan with a discoloration.- A further advantage of Curogan is the fact it is absolutely free of nickel. Nickel can be responsible for allergic reactions of sensitive dogs, potentially causing a skin reaction.

To choose the correct size, measure your dog’s snug neck circumference and add two inches. Links can be added or removed to achieve proper fit.

The biggest thing I was worried about was the copper color wearing away through use. Over 90 days later it still looks brand new. The only thing I would improve on is, I would ask for a half step sized link to get a perfect fit.
