I wish the buckle was better quality April 13, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous from United States   This is a very good harness for large dogs. However, in two years of ownership, the quick release buckle that holds together the chest strap has broken twice. Is the flimsiest part of the whole construction and unfortunately one that is used the most. Improved design of the buckle is necessary to earn a 5 star review. The item can be repaired, send back the harness to them and they will replace it for you, but again it should be improved or changed. Was this review helpful to you?

The Best Leather Harness On The Market February 20, 2021 Reviewer: Eric from United States   This is the second Dean and Tyler The Victory Solid Brass Hardware Dog Harness with Handle I have purchased, the first was 2017 and it still looks as good as new. We bought the brown with matching leather 6' leash and short leash and this time the same full set in black. Our new Pitbull is big enough for his own and we are excited for them to have matching Harness. Everyone that sees them love them they are so well made I don't have to worry about them slipping out. I just put some leather conditioner on every so often an like I said the one I bought in 2017 still looks new. They take a few weeks to arrive but if you want a top quality Harness that will last several lifetimes I highly recommend Dean and Tyler, there leather products are the best. Harness February 15, 2018 Reviewer: Dick Crabtree from Erie, PA United States   My dog is a 6 year old Lab/Shepard/Idiot mix - She was wild for about her first eleven months getting food where she could find it or catch it - She is a runner, an open door or a broken harness and she is gone for an hour or so, she comes back and set on the back porch waiting for me to get back from my search. I have her on a 70 ft cable run and have stops and springs at both ends - She will run at full speed until the cables stop her, I have seen her flip about 5 or so ft into the air - I tried those nylon harnesses and she blew up the plastic hardware - The reason that I got the new harness is that she broke the chest snap buckle of one of yours that she wore for 4 years or so Was this review helpful to you?

Looks just fantastic on my pit bull rescue September 29, 2017 Reviewer: Carolyn R.   In these days of plastic, faux leather, and ever-diminishing standards, I was quite impressed by the Victory harness which was on Amazon. However, as beautiful as the picture was, I had no inkling that the harness would be of such high quality and so impressive. It's heavyweight leather and fine details make this harness stand out above any other. It is obvious that careful attention was given to each facet of its design, and it has an old-world look and feel. It is classy without being ostentatious, and It looks just fantastic on my pit bull rescue. It goes wonderfully with his lighter brown coat, and he is very proud to be seen in it. If I ever need anything else, I will be back. And I tell everyone who asks me who made it. I wish your company well and may you continue to thrive and prosper. Was this review helpful to you?

June 29, 2017 Reviewer: Jackie Wood from United States   The moment we opened the cloth satchel it came in, our chocolate lab immediately went to it and was smelling it. It fit him a little big, but it is as super easy to adjust to his size and it fits perfectly. Our loves it and and won't even try to take it off like the one we had before. I looks comfortable in it and was so nice walking home with it on, so much less restraining for him. It's so sturdy and the leather is soft but strong. Sturdy stitching as well. Doesn't look like it can break easily at all. The inside is so soft and cushiony. Definitely going to get another for a family members' dog as well . Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent fit and customer service May 4, 2017 Reviewer: Edwin Martinez from Kissimmee, FL United States   Since larger sizes run in my Great Dane's family I called Dean and Tyler and they helped me out customizing my boy's harness. It's a very good and classy looking harness. The customer services was hands down the best I've seen in this business compared to competitors that do this in the US. Outstanding job Dean and Tyler!!
